Dr. Stancukas is a Fort Worth native. She’s a proud Fort Worth Country Day graduate and Saint Andrew Catholic Church parishioner. She received her undergraduate degree from Saint Mary’s College, her master’s degree in biomedical sciences from Midwestern University Downers Grove, and her medical degree from Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Illinois. She completed her residency at Katherine Shaw Bethea Hospital in Dixon, IL, where she served as chief resident for her program. Her residency encompassed all aspects of podiatric medicine and surgery and challenged her to provide evidence-based medicine and empathic patient care. Dr. Stancukas is board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Stancukas provides personalized, high-quality medical care to every patient and believes in exhausting conservative treatment options before pursuing surgical intervention. As a former NCAA soccer player and marathoner, she knows firsthand how amazingly resilient the human body is. She is passionate about preventative medicine, limb salvage, wound care, sports medicine, and corrective foot and ankle surgery. In her spare time, she enjoys playing soccer, running, volunteering in the community through the Junior League, traveling, and visiting all of the National Parks with her husband, Nick, and their son, Luke.
