    Born and raised in Michigan, Dr. Jeffrey Ratusznik completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan and earned his medical degree from the Tulane University School of Medicine.

    While at Tulane, Dr. Ratusznik was named the Jack R. Aron Scholar four consecutive years for academic excellence, and he was awarded the prestigious Joyce Reynolds Fellowship in Vascular Surgery. Following medical school, Dr. Ratusznik completed his surgical internship and orthopedic residency at the University of Missouri.

    Dr. Ratusznik’s passion for the preservation and restoration of spinal function led him to pursue a fellowship in orthopedic spine surgery with the Foundation for Orthopaedic Athletic and Reconstructive Research in the heart of Texas Medical Center. It was there where Dr. Ratusznik developed expertise in the evaluation and treatment of the full spectrum of spinal disorders, ranging from cervical and lumbar disc degeneration to the treatment of adult and pediatric spinal deformity, fractures, and complex revision procedures.

    Dr. Ratusznik has also served as invited faculty at numerous courses across the country educating providers on the most current evidence-based techniques for the surgical treatment of spinal deformity.

    Comprehensive patient evaluation and a focus on education are the hallmarks of Dr. Ratusznik’s practice. He is dedicated to ensuring that his patients have a thorough understanding of their condition, treatment options, and preventative measures. Patients participate fully in the decision-making process regarding their care, with personalized treatment regimens tailored to meet each patient’s individual needs.
